Management Accountant

Harrogate | Office Based | £45,000 - £55,000

This is a broad Management Accountant role within a well-established manufacturing business based in Harrogate.

Reporting into the Finance Director, you'll take ownership of the monthly management accounts whilst getting involved in forecasting, reporting, cash flow and operational finance across the business.

It's a role that would suit someone who enjoys being close to the numbers but also wants exposure to the wider commercial side of finance.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Variance analysis and investigation of discrepancies
• Weekly and monthly reporting
• Cash flow forecasting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• KPI reporting
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Managing an invoice factoring facility
• Supporting year-end accounts and audit requirements
• Working closely with operational teams across the business

What they're looking for

• Previous experience producing management accounts
• Strong month-end and reporting experience
• Good Excel skills
• Manufacturing experience would be useful but isn't essential
• A hands-on approach and willingness to get involved
